“Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life…By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgement is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me. John 5:24-30
Insight:
There is a special relationship between God and His creation. Let me remind us that we are the only creation made in image of God. God created more than humans but He found it necessary to put his breath only in human being. God does not need to have a relationship with us to be fulfilled but He graciously made a way for a special one to take place through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. We, on the other end, need to have a relationship with Him to be fulfilled. There is a necessary crossover that must take place in our life. We must cross from death to life. Jesus said that it happens only when we hear and believe the word of the Father who sent Him. He sent Him for our deliverance, our restoration, our redemption, our victory, our salvation in one word. The time to hear the voice of the Son of God is now, while we still have the breath of life.
Il existe une relation spéciale entre Dieu et sa création. Permettez-moi de nous rappeler que nous sommes la seule création créée à l’image de Dieu. Dieu a créé plus que les humains mais Il a jugé nécessaire de mettre son souffle uniquement dans l’être humain. Dieu n’a pas besoin d’avoir une relation avec nous pour être accompli, mais Il a gracieusement fait en sorte qu’une relation spéciale se produise par le sacrifice de Jésus-Christ. Nous, de l’autre côté, avons besoin d’avoir une relation avec Lui pour être comblés. Il y a un changemnet nécessaire qui doit avoir lieu dans notre vie. Nous devons passer de la mort à la vie. Jésus a dit que cela n’arrive que lorsque nous entendons et croyons la parole du Père qui l’a envoyé. Il l’a envoyé pour notre délivrance, notre restauration, notre rédemption, notre victoire, notre salut en un mot. Le moment est venu d’entendre la voix du Fils de Dieu, pendant que nous avons encore le souffle de vie.

- Lord, teach me to hear and obey your voice afresh.
- Lord, let the Spirit of the fear of the Lord come upon me and my family.
- Lord, let the Spirit of the fear of the Lord come upon your church
- Seigneur, apprends-moi à entendre et à obéir à nouveau à ta voix.
- Seigneur, que l’Esprit de la crainte du Seigneur vienne sur moi et ma famille.
- Seigneur, laisse l’Esprit de la crainte du Seigneur venir sur ton église.
