Verse: “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.” 1 Cor.13:4-6
Insight:
Rudeness often is the external manifestation of internal frustrations and insecurities. It is to have someone else bear the consequences of our shortcomings. Love is not supposed to do that. Love does not make other people pay for the wrong of someone else. Rudeness can also come from a lack of self-control. King Saul for example was very rude to king David because of his own insecurities. Being rude opens the door to the spirit of wickedness and destroys destiny changing relationships.
Challenges and frustrations are part of this life; we must learn to deal with that through prayer and patience.
Etre rude est souvent la manifestation externe de frustrations et insécurités internes. C’est faire supporter à quelqu’un d’autre les conséquences de nos actes. L’amour n’est pas censé faire ça. L’amour ne fait pas payer les autres pour le tort de quelqu’un d’autre. Etre rude peut aussi provenir d’un manque de maîtrise de soi. Le roi Saül, par exemple, était très rude avec le roi David à cause de ses propres insécurités. Être rude ouvre la porte à l’esprit de méchanceté et détruit les relations qui peuvent changer notre destinee.
Les défis et les frustrations font partie de cette vie; nous devons apprendre à gérer cela par la prière et la patience.
