For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephe . 2:8-9

In order to appreciate where you are today, you have to come to term with who you used to be. To reach your destiny, you have to know where you are coming from. We were dead in our sins, meaning we were separated from God, our creator and source of real life. We were in the world, reacting to fleshly impulses and ideas. We were like the rest of mankind, destined to feel the wrath of God.

But the mercies and compassion of God spoke on our behalf. He reached down and pulled us off the mud and cleansed us with the blood of Jesus Christ and now the dead is alive. Now the carnal passions can turn into spiritual endeavors which is to make spiritual victims. Now we are alive and agents of the Allmighty God for the salvation of mankind.

In order to appreciate where you are today , you must accept who you were . To reach your destiny , you must know where you come from. We were dead in our sins , which means we were separated from God, our creator and source of real life . We were in the world, responding to fleshly impulses and ideas . We were like the rest of mankind , destined to suffer the wrath of God.

But God’s mercy and compassion spoke on our behalf. He bent down and pulled us out of the mud and cleansed us with the blood of Jesus Christ and now the dead are alive . Now , carnal passions can be transformed into spiritual efforts , that is to say, to make spiritual victims . Now , we are alive and agents of Almighty God for the salvation of mankind .
